You all may have heard about it. Is Kojima trying to hint something BIG in this equation, or Konami is trying to hide the fact of an unescapable truth through a overused commercial strategy? You decide.
Let's break some points to speculate. First of all, it's green in a black background. Green can mean Xbox360 and I'm SURE I'LL NEVER WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT! Shifting the game franchise to the Xbox is like a stab in the back of PS3 gamers since FFXIII went multi-platform. Knowing Kojima, he would make full use of the bluray disc (the 400GB disc is tempting) and use his signature game direction to overflow the data. Xbox doesn't have that and the MGS series will forever stick to the heart of Playstation owners world wide.
Second of all, the 'i's. 'i' can mean iPod, or iPhone. A possible mobile game? Check this out, notice the exclamation mark '!'? There is only one thing that this symbol very relevant is Metal Gear AC!D, the card game. Will there be a remake? Or another sequel? And will it be exclusive for the iPhone?
Last thing I want to point out is the below subtitle 'A next Metal Gear is...". Why is this worth pointing out? Because there isn't a mention of 'Solid' or 'AC!D' which leads me to the speculation that this equation is possibly refering to the new series of MGS games. That's right, Kojima did say MGS4 will be the last game that Snake will appear, so why make a Metal Gear Solid 5 without him? It's ridiculous!
I am a diehard Metal Gear Solid fan at heart you know. Playing all four games for the last ten years had made me that passionate gamer today.
